Historically, the food served during Afternoon Tea typically consists of tea, scones (a type of biscuit), sauces (clotted cream, jam and lemon curd), fruit, small sandwiches, savories and dessert pastries. All Teas are served in the Party Room using beautiful plates and teacups. Onalea offers Afternoon Tea comprised in variations on the same theme:
Cream Tea - includes tea, choice of two scones and sauces.
Cream Tea is $5.00/person
Dessert Tea - enjoy tea with a variety of four decadent tea time desserts - yum!
Dessert Tea is $7.00/person
Tea Luncheon - served with tea, slice of quiche, fruit and dessert
Abbreviated Tea is $9.00/person
Full Afternoon Tea - a three course meal consisting of:
First Course: tea and fruit soup (hot or cold depending on season)
Second Course: scone with sauces, small sandwiches, savories
Third Course: dessert
Full Afternoon Tea is $12.00/person
***Add a bracelet project for $6.00 (using pre-selected beads) or any bead project for the additional cost of the materials you choose.
***Want to learn about Tea? For $25.00 your group can listen to Onalea speak about the different types of tea, its history, traditions, etc.
Reservations are required for ALL Teas and Tea Luncheons and will be held with a credit card number. Please book parties in advance (at least a week) as dates are filling up quickly!
